Andy Dosty, the morning show host of Hitz FM, revealed that he advised the hiplife duo Bradez to stop working under their elder brother, Okyeame Kwame. During his appearance on Daybreak Hitz, Andy apologized to Okyeame for this suggestion.
“I felt that his influence was overshadowing them, so I told him to let the boys go; they would survive,” Andy explained.
Okyeame Kwame acknowledged his initial reluctance but later recognized the positive results of Bradez’s independence. “I had plans for them, especially for Kunta, whom I raised. Your advice turned out to be the best,” he said.
Dosty emphasized that Bradez’s independence allows them to support Okyeame while focusing on their own music. Bradez, consisting of Flowking Stone and Kunta Kinte, gained fame with hits like “Simple,” “Dondo,” “One Gallon,” and “Flash.”
