Award winning Ghanaian DJ and music producer DJ Vyrusky has addressed recent claims suggesting that he replaced popular singer Kuami Eugene with rapper King Paluta on his new track, “Sika.”
The song, which has attracted a large audience since its release, features King Paluta and KiDi, and has sparked conversations and fueled speculations that King Paluta replaced Kuami Eugene on his latest single.
Responding to these claims in an interview, Vyrusky explained that while there were initial discussions about featuring Kuami Eugene on the song, they never got to the stage of recording a verse.
“KiDi and Kuami Eugene Live in O2, so there was a conversation to have Kuami Eugene on the song, right but we never recorded the verse… but me and Kuami Eugene get songs we no release. Like 3 or 4 sef still dey, Why you no tire me and Kuami Eugene?” he clarified
Vyrusky went on to highlight his longstanding partnership with Kuami Eugene, recalling several hit projects they have worked on, including “Number,” “Adwenfi,” “All Correct,” “Broken Heart,” “Follow Who Know Road,” among others. He also hinted that their collaborative work is not over, as they have more unreleased projects together that fans can look forward to.
However, in an exciting news, Vyrusky hinted at a new EP, expected to drop next year, informing his followers what to look forward to in the coming year.
