During an interview on PLUZZ FM’s AreaGang, fast-rising artiste Aya Ramzy B discussed his reasons for relocating to Accra.
He stated one can’t stay in Takoradi and excel in music and also emphasized that while there is money available to invest in artistes, many musicians struggle to succeed due to a lack of understanding of the entertainment industry.
He believes there is significant financial potential in music. Aya also mentioned several successful musicians from Takoradi, including Nero X, Pappy Kojo, Castro, and Kinaata, noting that their success is partly attributed to their management teams based in Accra.

“Music generates income more than any job but investors are yet to understand the music business because it is very expensive. I have met rich men who can invest in my craft but they feel reluctant because of past experiences” he said.
While he acknowleged the immense contribution from the media in Takoradi, the huge problem has to do with the lack of investors in the region.
