Shatta Wale Presents Brand New Song “Betting Tax”

Ghana’s King of Dancehall, Shatta Wale, has released a song following the release of the 2025 budget statement presented by the Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson.

The song titled “Betting Tax” is in response to the former finance minister’s claim that the Nana Akufo-Addo-led NPP government did not implement the betting tax.

“Betting Tax”, released on March 11th, 2025, seems to speak against the NPP government, claiming they did not implement the betting tax.

He leaves a speech at the end of the song, advising the youth and stating clearly that he wants Ghanaians to see him as a brother rather than an artiste.

Shatta Wale, whom we all know has made a great contribution to the Ghanaian music industry and looks forward to helping and supporting the youth, is sending a great inspiration through his new single.

“Betting Tax” is a song which speaks against corruption, speaks for the youth and encourages the youth to stay focused and not to depend on the government. Listen to it below.
