Board chairman of the National Sports Authority, Seth Panwum has called for the immediate sacking of Ghana coach Otto Addo.
He made the comments in the wake of Ghana’s 2-1 loss to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
Ghana ended their abysmal AFCON 2025 qualifying campaign in a home defeat against Niger.
Yesterday’s result means Ghana have completed an AFCON qualifying series without winning a match, for the first time in the country’s history.
In a recent interview with Angel FM, Seth Panwum said “Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract and he has failed to perform.”
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council will review the team’s dismal performance in the qualifiers on Wednesday.
There are no indications that Otto Addo will be sacked at Wednesday’s meeting.
