The Ghana Police Service has arrested Nana Amo Abraham for allegedly assaulting his 20-year-old daughter at Twifo Praso in the Central Region.
According to the police, the suspect physically assaulted his daughter after a disagreement between the two.
The police said in a statement, “The suspect, according to police investigations, physically assaulted his daughter, following a disagreement, and inflicted bodily harm on her.”
“He is currently in custody assisting with the investigation and will be put before a court.” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the police have arranged for the victim to receive further medical care at the Police Hospital in Accra.
