After a long wait, M.anifest affectionately called Mdot’s new record “New Road & Guava Trees” has finally come out.
For starters, the record shows how the rapper is still growing. It also marks a turning point in his career as he makes his debut under the respected Mass Appeal Records, which was founded by the famous Nas.
It has fourteen tracks by a lot of talented acts, such as A-Reece, Lee Lewis, TOBi, T’neeya, AratheJay, King Promise, Darkovibes, and Vic Daggs II.
This new, upbeat sound shows how he went from the streets of Madina to the world stage, where he has pushed the limits while staying true to his roots.
The title of the album, “New Road & Guava Trees,” comes from the place where M.anifest grew up in Madina, Ghana. It shows how people and their art can grow.
The record is a mix of reflective and forward-looking sounds that come from his deep Ghanaian roots as well as influences from all over the world. Listen here
