Shatta Wale has finally commented on the recent trend of artistes employing people to speak on their behalf when it gets to the time of awards.
Recently, a few Ghanaian artistes have employed individuals to persuade the public to vote for them in their efforts to win awards.
During an X space last night, Shatta Wale asserted that Ghanaian artists tend to overdo things and gave an instance of foreign artistes doing the same for the Grammys.
According to him, if you know you have worked hard enough as an artiste, your stats on the various streaming platforms will convince the public that you deserve the award.
Shatta Wale went on to say that people’s poor mentality is the leading cause of this problem in the industry.
The “Ayoo” hitmaker noted that he has made it clear to his manager, Sammy Flex, that he could go live to air his views at time since no one can express his thoughts better than himself.
