Veteran Ghanaian actress and filmmaker Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe has been appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s new ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
In a list that includes ambassadors, high commissioners, and a consul-general designate, she is among 15 newly nominated diplomatic envoys selected by the president to represent Ghana in various countries.
The former model has appeared in over fifty films, including Babina, Trinity, and Sala, for which she received a Golden Actress award in the Drama category.
In 1990, she represented Ghana in the Miss Model of the World contest and gained recognition through commercials.
Kalsoume Sinare is a suitable applicant for the role due to her extensive history of service and significant impact in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
