President Mahama has named Akfui Danku as the new CEO and executive secretary of the National Film Authority.
Kafui will take over as head of NFA from fellow actor Juliet Asante at the moment. This comes a day after it came to light that actor James Gardiner would be the new Deputy Executive Secretary of the Authority.
Kafui Danku-Pitcher is a very successful Ghanaian businesswoman, author, and filmmaker with a strong background in the arts, tourism, and economic growth.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and Classics from the University of Cape Coast. Currently, she is going to the University of Ghana to get an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA).
Since 2008, Madam Kafui Danku-Pitcher has worked as an actor and director. Since 2013, she has been an executive producer at ABC Pictures Limited. She has also worked as a repatriation assistant for the UNHCR.
