Head coach of the Ghana Black Stars has expressed his sentiment following the poor performances of his team against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier encounters.
According to him, he felt “dead” after the Stars lost 2-0 to the Falcons of Jedaine at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Benghazi, Libya on Tuesday.
Ghana is currently sitting third in Group F with two points following the team’s winless run to four games.
“To be honest, the last two days [After Sudan match], I was dead,” Addo said in an interview with GFA media.

“But now, I got a lot of positive feedback and a lot of support from family, friends and this is the time I need them.
“And this brought me back on track and very important for us to think ahead to try as much as possible to win the last games.”
The Black Stars will play against Angola and Niger in their last two qualifying matches, where they must secure all points to maintain their slim chances of qualifying for next year’s continental tournament.
