I Didn’t Like ‘Eminado’ And ‘Dorobucci’ Before Their Release- Tiwa Savage

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage disclosed that she disliked two songs suggested by her former manager, Don Jazzy, which ultimately became hit records.

In a recent interview, the singer revealed that she never liked two of her hit songs, “Eminado” and “Dorobucci.”

According to her, Don Jazzy insisted the songs be released because he was of the view that they would appeal to Nigerians. The songs later became a success.

“I hated “Eminado” when I first heard it. Don Jazzy played it for me; I was like, I don’t like it, and he said it’s going on my album, and I said no, he was like, this album is not coming out if you don’t put “Eminado” in it. And I asked what Eminado was all about, and he said he understood the market.

“You just have to go with Jazzy, because that’s Don Jazzy. Now I have to perform it every time because everyone is waiting for it. I did not like Dorobucci either; everybody loved it.

“I was the last person to do my verse, and I did not like it. I was like, nobody was going to like it, and then the whole Africa loved it.”
