Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is expecting a difficult challenge against Basake Holy Stars on match-day eight of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently second on the Ghana Premier League table with 14 points and will travel to CAM Park searching for their fourth successive 2024/25 Ghana Premier League victory.
According to Ogum, the only threat Holy Stars can pose to his outfit is when they underestimate them in their upcoming clash.
“It’s a big game because it is a venue that has history with respect to good football in the Ghana Premier league.
“When Karela was there, they were a big torn in the flesh of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and this time around is Basake Holy Stars which another good team from Nzema land.
“I have been able to watch a few of their games and I think they are a very good side” Prosper Ogum Asante Kotoko media.
Asante Kotoko are currently second on the Ghana Premier League table with 14 points and a win on Sunday could place them at the top, depending on the result of Gold Stars’ clash with Hearts of Oak.
