Today, special voting occurs in Ghana before the general elections. Individuals on duty during the main election day, such as security personnel, journalists, and election officials, are the target audience for this special voting exercise.
It ensures they can still cast their votes despite their work commitments on election day.
Maintaining the integrity and inclusivity of the electoral process requires allowing election facilitators to participate.
“We know we will be victorious at the end of the day,” said John Dumelo, the parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, speaking at the Legon Police Station where special voting is ongoing.
