The Electoral Commission (EC) released a list of polling stations for the forthcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
The independent body responsible for elections and referendums announced that it will use 40,975 polling stations to conduct the December 7, 2024 polls.
A press release by the Commission dated October 10 and signed by the Deputy Chairman, Samuel Tettey, concisely contained this detail.

“The Electoral Commission hereby publishes the list of all Polling Stations and Special Voting Centres for the 2024 General Election. The total number of Polling Stations is 40,975,” a portion of the statement reads.
“The breakdown is as follows: Main Polling Stati ons – 40,647, Special Voting Centers – 328,” it added.
