Consider The Hardship In The Country And Vote Wisely – Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang

The vice presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has called on all agencies, including the security personnel who are participating in the special voting, to consider the hardship in the country and vote for her party to win.

During an open day with Muslims in Cape Coast, she spoke to journalists on Sunday, motivating them to cast their votes on Monday, December 2nd, based on the current situation of the country.

She also highlighted that most journalists have fled the country out of fear of being attacked by government officials and said that press freedom was held very high under Mahama’s governance but not the same under Akufo-Addo’s.

Therefore, she encouraged journalists to exercise caution when casting their votes, given the risks they confront in their line of work.

Prof. Jane Opoku Agyemang also emphasized to the Electoral Commission the importance of ensuring a free and fair election.
