This Thursday 6th March, the much-anticipated Akple Festival will take place at Mmofra Place in Dzorwulu.
At this annual event, people come from all over to see how magical Akple is, and the number of people who come keeps going up.
At the Akple Festival, which started in 2020 and has over fifty food vendors, a wide range of meals are served, with Akple being the main dish.
To show how important it is to eat locally grown foods, some other foods are banku, Ga Kormi (also called Kenkey), Tuozaafi served with different toppings like Ademe soup, Okro stew or soup, and others.
As they get ready for what will surely be the most amazing event ever, Brand With Echiri, who are the organisers, is almost vibrating with excitement.
The theme of this year’s event is “Our People, Our Culture,” and it’s meant to celebrate the rich and varied Ghanaian community through its food, dance, music, and art.
To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the event is planning a party with lots of treats and exciting times.
