Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, is hopeful about his team’s chances ahead of the encounter against Sudan in Libya on Tuesday, October 15.
Ghana lock horns with Sudan on matchday four of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, anticipating to secure their first victory.
The Black Stars is yet to win a game following their three games already played, drawing two and losing the other which has left them in the third position in Group F.
The team’s final training session was held earlier on Monday, October 14.
Addo, speaking to the GFA Media team stated “I was very satisfied with the training. I think the boys adapted well. They are all ready and willing to show what they can to make the last result out of their head.”

Admitting the challenges of his side in front of goal, he remained confident of securing victory against the Falcons of Jediane.
“It’s obvious that we need goals. We created a lot of chances against Angola; we deserved to win this game. We didn’t play well against Niger, the last I think we also deserved to win but we were unlucky,” he added.
“When we play the way we played in the last game, we will win.”

A victory for Ghana would elevate them above Sudan in the standings before the final two qualifying matches in November, whereas failing to win would make the Black Stars’ path to Morocco more complicated.
