Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has handed late call-ups to forwards Osman Bukari, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, and four others ahead of Ghana’s final Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The decision comes after eight players withdrew from the initial squad named last Thursday.
The additional call-ups include Forson Amankwah (Norwich City), Terry Yegbe (IF Elfsborg), Ebenezer Annan (OFK Beograd), and Kingsley Schindler (Samsunspor).
Ghana will be without key players Joseph Paintsil, Antoine Semenyo, Ibrahim Osman, Tariq Lamptey, Jerome Opoku, and Inaki Williams, who are all unavailable for selection.
The Black Stars will open camp on Monday evening in Accra for the two games set to come up later this week and early next week.
The match against Angola will take place on Friday, November 15, in Luanda, before the Black Stars wrap up the qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium against Niger on Monday, November 18.
Ghana currently sits third in Group F with just two points from four games, and qualification is no longer in their hands.
The Black Stars must win their remaining matches and hope that Sudan, who have seven points, lose both of theirs in order to qualify.
