The highly anticipated 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony is set to take place on Monday, October 28, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
All eyes will be on the Ballon d’Or ceremony, marking its 68th edition, organised by France Football. This year, for only the third time in history, the award will be based on the performance of players during the season, specifically from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024, rather than the traditional calendar year.
This year, Brazilian superstar Vinicius Junior is becoming a leading candidate for the prestigious award.

The skipper of Real Madrid, Dani Carvajal, is also in the running. He had an outstanding season with six goals and six assists in 41 matches and made important contributions in the Champions League final. His superb performances helped Spain clinch the European Championship, further establishing him as a top candidate
Rodri having been a key player for Manchester City and Spain, is also a strong Ballon d’Or contender. He started every match, scoring nine goals and assisting 12 times in 45 games, helping his club win the Premier League, European Super Cup, and Club World Cup, as well as guiding Spain to the European Championship.
