Samini Drops Visuals For “Chaana” Ahead Of Album Release

Samini has dropped the music video for his new track, “Chaana,” which features the world-famous Soweto Gospel Choir of South Africa.

The title of the song, “Chaana”, which means “shine” in Samini’s native Dagaati language, perfectly captures the positive message it conveys. ​

The motion picture, which was directed by Yaw Skyface, takes viewers on a breathtaking tour of Africa’s natural splendour, from the verdant hills of Ghana to the colourful landscapes of South Africa.

To further emphasise the sentiments of togetherness and cultural pride expressed in the song, it incorporates vibrant costumes, traditional dances, and strong moments of community and celebration.
