One of Ghana’s sensational musicians, Gyakie, has expressed how uneasy she feels when her fans compare her to other musicians.
The Song Bird revealed this on the Drive with the AreaGang, speaking in an interview with Maame Esi Nyamekye.
She noted that despite the help and support from her dad, she also had to work hard to prove that she is exceptionally talented and is not making hit songs because of her father’s name.
Gyakie expressed that it pains her when people not only compare her to her father, but also to other artists.
She just wants to be unique as she is and encourages her fans to enjoy and connect with her through her craft as she continues to educate and entertain her fans with her new single, “Sankofa,” which you can listen to here.
