In the spirit of compassion, unity, and shared blessings that define the holy
month of Ramadan, GBfoods Ghana proudly extended warm wishes and heartfelt congratulations to His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, National Chief Imam, the Council of Elders, and the entire Muslim community across Ghana.
Ramadan is a sacred time of reflection, devotion, and family togetherness. As families gather around Suhoor and Iftar, embracing the bonds that unite them, GBFoods Ghana stands in solidarity with the Muslim community committed to enriching these cherished moments through our purpose ‘celebrating local Flavors’ and nourishment.
As part of the Ramadan initiatives, GBfoods Ghana has made a significant
contribution of assorted products—including Gino Tomato Mix, Pomo Tomato Mix, Gino Jollof Mix, Gino Peppe and Onion, Gino Curry Powder, Gino Baked Beans and Jago Mayonnaise— aimed at easing burdens and strengthening unity within the Muslim community.

In an interview with the media, the Managing Director at GBfoods Ghana,
David Afflu said, ‘we understand that balanced nutrition is essential, especially during periods of fasting. That is why we are proud to offer our flagship brands—Gino, Pomo, and Brisk Farm—fortified with vital nutrients such as Vitamins A, D3, Zinc, and Fiber and Halal certified. These offerings are designed to not only complement the fasting journey but also to enhance
culinary experiences that foster lasting memories among families’.
Quoting the Holy Quran, “For the Almighty Allah does not need your support,
but if you support mankind, it is a gesture to His mankind,” our gesture is deeply rooted in the desire to serve and uplift. It is our way of honouring the sacred values of giving, compassion, and community uplift meant during this holy month.

On her part, the Marketing Director, Ewuraba Adusei said, ‘through our initiative of distributing products and hot meals in selected mosques, we have directly engaged with the community by providing delicious Iftar meals to over 10,000 Muslims across 13 mosques in Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale. Staying true to one of our values – Proximity, which enjoins us to stay close to the communities in which we operate’.
The National Chief Imam expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating, “We
are profoundly grateful for the gesture. For whoever does not express gratitude to man does not show gratitude to God. So, therefore, we are very grateful to GBfoods Ghana.

As the crescent moon continues to light our paths through this sacred season, GBfoods Ghana remains dedicated to celebrating local Flavors, fostering togetherness, nourishing communities, and standing with our Muslim brothers and sisters in faith and friendship.
