Asamoah Gyan Urges Black Stars To Stay Focused Ahead of Madagascar Clash

Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has charged the Black Stars to be psychologically strong when they face Madagascar in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier tonight.

Gyan, who is Ghana’s all-time leading scorer, emphasized the importance of mental toughness in the team’s quest for victory.

The Black Stars will aim to maintain top spot in their FIFA World Cup qualifying group as they take on Madagascar in Morocco.

With Ghana topping Group I after a win against Chad, a victory over Madagascar could see them open a five-point lead.

“We have about three games to go, I’m thinking about the Psychological part. Let’s go 100%”.

“I want Ghanaians to see you guys heckling and fighting for every ball,” Gyan said.

With Gyan’s words of wisdom ringing in their ears, the Black Stars will be hoping to secure a crucial win and take a step closer to qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to be staged in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
