President Mahama has appointed fashion entrepreneur KOD, popularly known as Kofi Okyere Darko, and seasoned media personality Abeiku Santana.
With an established track record in media, fashion, and cultural activism, KOD was named the presidential adviser on diaspora affairs and is anticipated to be key in enhancing Ghana’s interactions with its diaspora.
On the flip side, the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has named Abeiku Santana as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
He is an excellent candidate for the position because of his broad background in media, marketing, and tourist advocacy, which he uses to highlight the nation’s festivals, rich cultural legacy, and hospitality industry.
His appointment supports President John Dramani Mahama’s goals of growing the travel and tourist industry, bringing in investments, and creating jobs.
In this role, his responsibilities include spearheading creative marketing initiatives, establishing business alliances, and further positioning Ghana as a premier vacation gateway.
